On July 25 to 28, 2017, the Zhongzhi QC Team of Stock Solution Workshop C, on behalf of Sunshine Guojian Pharmaceuticals (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Sunshine Guojian”), attended the 38th Annual Conference for National Pharmaceutical QC Circle Achievements. Liu Wanbing, the team representative, published the achievement named “Optimization of Freezing Technology of Stock Solution,” which was awarded the first prize among 588 achievement projects presented on the site from 161 pharmaceutical companies in China.

The achievement presentation meeting adopted both written and on-site presentation and review, which not only shows the important achievements of various enterprises in QCC activities, but also provides an excellent opportunity for enterprises to exchange and learn from each other and improve together. The continuous implementation of QCC activities in pharmaceutical enterprises can effectively improve the employees’ abilities of systematic thinking in analyzing and solving problems, expressing opinions and summarizing experience, and cultivating and strengthening employees’ quality awareness, which is of long-term value and significance to pharmaceutical enterprises who take quality as the basis of survival.

Since March of this year, the Quality Control Center of the company has taken the lead in preparing the QCC achievement presentation of this year. The senior management of the company has set up the internal evaluation committee of QCC achievement presentation projects to guide the subject content and solve the problems in the paper, conduct the internal presentation meeting exercise, with team members commenting on each other and practicing to improve presentation skills. The whole team’s hard work and efficient cooperation created excellent results for the company.

The meeting was sponsored by the China Association of Quality for Pharmaceuticals, and was themed with “Guidance on Strengthening for Innovation and Development” this year. A total of 18 pharmaceutical enterprise groups and their affiliated pharmaceutical enterprises from 16 provinces, cities and autonomous regions including Jiangsu, Shanghai and Tianjin attended the meeting. According to official data, in the past 10 years, QCC activities have undergone significant changes: the scope of influence has been continuously expanded and the industry coverage has been more extensive, extending from drug manufacturers to medical devices, pharmaceutical business, drug inspection institutes, hospitals and other professional institutions. The achievement presentation has also grown fast from domestic presentation to international exchange presentation. In 2015, the team members won two gold awards in the ICQCC competition, marking a Chinese pharmaceutical company has won top international quality management awards for the first time. Amid such a general trend, pharmaceutical companies presented their achievements in terms of product development, project improvement, method development and process development at the QCC meeting, with their creativity and values both significantly upgraded.

In the future, Sunshine Guojian will continue to strengthen the implementation of QCC activities, encourage more employees at the production line to participate in the whole process management of product quality improvement, and constantly consolidate the quality system while improving the daily management model in a dynamic manner.
